Lori, an SLC-based Delta, knows what it’s like to be part of a union: at her previous airline, her peers waited nine years for a pay raise because of contract negotiations. She knows that every airline faces issues, but time and again Delta has proven that we put our people first.
At Delta, Lori has seen first-hand the benefit of the direct relationship that flight attendants have with leadership, and Delta’s ability to drive changes quickly and effectively for all.
“My first three years at Delta I saw two pay raises. Those contracted employees [at my previous airline] – they were in that contract for nine years and they didn’t see any pay raises or any changes to their contract…We get to experience profit sharing. We get a lot of things here that other airlines don’t.”
Because of our direct relationship, Delta flight attendants get to experience many things that flight attendants at other airlines don’t, like the addition of boarding pay and other responsive, feedback-driven enhancements to compensation, work rules, and benefits.
