Before signing an A-card, you should know what you’d be getting into with AFA.
Every AFA member is governed by something called AFA’s Constitution and Bylaws (“C&B”) and Policy Manual. These are the set of “rules” that govern the relationship between flight attendants and the union – and you never actually get to vote on them.
There is a lot covered in the C&B and Policy Manual that would impact you if AFA were elected to represent all flight attendants at Delta – and when you take a closer look at AFA’s rules, you’ll notice that AFA seems more interested in protecting itself than its members.
