Kaylen: “Unionized carriers want what we have”
Kaylen is an ATL-based flight attendant who decided to follow in her mom’s footsteps. Growing up witnessing the benefits of the direct relationship in action, Kaylen knew she wanted to carry on the Delta legacy and joined the company in 2015. One of the reasons, she explains, is that employees’ relationships with senior leadership is different here and leads to faster results and improvements.
“I think about the pandemic we just went through. Delta was able to turn on a dime. We were able to make decisions and they were very, very quickly enacted and put in place. We were the first to receive boarding pay. The unionized airlines are going after the things that we are already getting and already have because our senior leadership put them in place for us.”
