Peter, an ORD-based cargo lead, experienced life with a few different unions at his previous airline. There, he didn’t have a direct relationship with his leaders.
“In the cases that I've been with [a union] it was always employees against management. If you walked into managements’ office you had to walk in with a union [representative]. Jobs were something you just wanted to get done. It's an environment that I'm glad to be out of."
