Yessid: Delta’s “open-door policy is refreshing”
Delta’s culture is unique in the airline industry. It’s what drew Yessid, a New York-based flight attendant, to join Delta recently after 20 years at another carrier.
As he put it, “I wanted to work for an airline that treated not only their passengers but their employees well.”
In his first year, he’s already seen the difference:
“Just having that open-door policy, it’s refreshing because you feel like you’re being heard if you do approach a leader and let them know you have a concern, whether it’s operationally or personally.”
