Andrea: “Delta does it the best”
Andrea, a Boston-based flight attendant, previously worked at a unionized carrier before leaving the airline industry in the wake of 9/11. But in 2019, she returned – and now, flying for Delta. Andrea says she realized instantly how things at Delta were different than at her previous carrier, like the open-door policy and relationships flight attendants have with leaders.
“Yes, we have gone through a few years of struggle as an industry, but here, Delta provided us a way to be able to still support our families, still work our careers, and what was impressive is that none of our flight attendants got furloughed – not a single one. I don’t come looking for perfection, I come looking for them to do what they do well, and Delta does it the best. There’s no other airline I’d rather be with.”
