Joseph: Delta has my back
Joseph, an RDU-based aircraft load agent, already knew that Delta had a different culture when he came over from another airline. But when Hurricane Maria devastated his hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Joseph saw firsthand how Delta puts people first. In the aftermath of the storm, Delta provided employees and their families with evacuation flights, as well as crucial supplies such as food, cash, and generators.
“At the end of that dark tunnel there was a spotlight, and that spotlight was Delta…That generator saved my mom, my dad, and the neighborhood I grew up. The way that they handled the situation for us, they went above and beyond. I didn’t see other carriers having the same treatment we had… During my eight and a half years, they have proven to me that they have got my back whenever I need it and that’s the most important thing to me.”
