Laine: Our leaders know and care for us
Laine, a Detroit-based flight attendant, was diagnosed with breast cancer during the pandemic. Because Delta maintained medical premiums while she was on PLOC, Laine was able to get the care she needed to save her life.
“My leadership was there checking in on me every step of the way. [My FSM] knows my son’s name, she asks about my mom, and she’s like that with all of her flight attendants. I don’t feel that having a union, we would still have that same relationship with our leaders.”
