Princeton: “What we have here is special”
Princeton, an Atlanta-based flight attendant, worked at another airline before joining Delta. Princeton shares that he had to go through a union representative to handle small issues, but at Delta he can form a direct relationship with management.
“One of our VPs, her office is right in the flight attendant lounge in Atlanta. One day we’ll talk about what we did over the weekend, the next day we’ll talk about work rules and things that we might be able to improve. It’s great to have a relationship with leaders like that. And at my previous airline, I didn’t have that direct access.”
Delta’s direct relationship allows our flight attendants to directly handle any issue or feedback – big or small – with their leaders, not a third-party.
