From Day One, Delta flight attendants qualify for profit sharing
At Delta, we believe that all employees, including flight attendants with less than a year of service, should be eligible for profit sharing. It’s our way of ensuring everyone shares in the success you help make possible.
This year, Delta’s profit sharing is 10.40% of your eligible earnings – equal to more than one month’s pay. For a Delta flight attendant who started 1 year ago (February 1, 2023), assuming 80 hours per month, profit sharing for those hours comes to approximately $3,094. And this doesn’t include additional eligible hours, such as boarding premium pay.
It is a different story at AFA-represented United, where a flight attendant must have completed 1 year of service as of December 31 before they are eligible to receive profit sharing. That means that a United flight attendant who also started on February 1, 2023, will not receive a profit sharing payout.
It’s just one of the many ways Delta continues to lead the way.
