Ron: “A Union Would Change the Direct Relationship We Have at Delta”
Ron is an ATL-based tower agent who believes that Delta values its people and that a union would change the direct working relationship he has with leaders.
“And how can you say, well if we got a union in here now, and I can’t go to my manager which I know and have worked with before, but now I have got to go to a total stranger with my problems to go to my manager. That’s just wrong.”
Ron also voiced his frustration with the union having his information, making visits to his home and trying to persuade him to join the union on his day off.
“I had someone knock on my door and he said, “You work for Delta?” I said, “Yes, I do. Of course.” And I stopped him right there and said, “Look I’m not interested. I love my job and I think we are on the right move.” I was a little upset that they were on my property and that they got my name and know where I live. I think that’s just wrong.”
