Delta flight attendants share what makes Delta’s culture unique
Delta flight attendants Tom, Janice, Kathleen, Tanner, and Omando share how Delta’s culture and direct relationship differs from their previous airlines.
- Janice (formerly under AFA representation) recalls her experience during the Covid-19 pandemic saying, “I actually felt heard, I felt seen because of what leadership did for not only in-flight, but Delta employees in general.” She added that Delta “ensure[d] that we were employed. They didn’t have to furlough anyone.”
- Kathleen (formerly under APFA representation) adds, “Delta has so many different avenues of support for us. You know there are so many of us flight attendants, but it really feels like we’re cared about as individuals.”
- When referencing his prior experience, Tanner (formerly under AFA representation) says, “At my previous airline, I didn’t ever feel like I had anyone to turn to. And coming to Delta, you’re supported, there is someone there to talk to, there is someone there to help you.”
At Delta, our culture and flight attendants’ direct relationship with leaders is incredibly unique. Don’t let AFA change it.
